I like new technology the way some people like sports: something to follow, argue about, and go try for myself. A new piece of hardware, a new framework, a new way to automate something I used to do by hand — I look for excuses to use it, not because I need to but because I want to know how it works. That curiosity is most of why I ended up in engineering in the first place.

I am a Coptic Orthodox Christian. It is a steady part of how I spend my time and think about things outside of work and school.

I will take almost any excuse to try something I have not done before — a place, a dish, a piece of hardware, a hobby. Most of it does not end up on this site. Some of it does.
